Collaboration is central to our projects. The difference from our consultancy is that here we work from a project-based approach. We agree on a start and end date, as well as responsibilities and scope for the deliverables. And we always deliver completed projects, aligned with the vision and goals.

For our clients, we initiate DevOps projects for recognizing and categorising thousands of IT incidents. Then, we automate solutions. For an international client with several large call centres, we devised a solution that is both efficient and cost-saving. This client provides network connections with guaranteed network access. Nevertheless, there were many disruptions, resulting in many customers simultaneously reporting the same incident. An individual ticket was created for each customer, allowing engineers to get to work. For this, hundreds of people in call centres performed the same action daily. By developing a system that reads complaint emails, groups the disruptions, and sends an automatic response to each customer, significant work was saved. Instead of hundreds of emails, only one email now went to the network engineer. After the problem was resolved, one email was also sent to all customers stating the incident was fixed. The number of call centre staff could be drastically reduced thanks to this efficient system. This DevOps project was demarcated with an SLA (service level agreement).

SAP migration without downtime.

For a next project, USN wrote a project plan and successfully carried out a migration, from an SAP R3 server to a new server, including identity management and all links to databases and applications. SAP R3 is often used by large organisations, where downtime is unacceptable. This was reduced to just a few hours, within an agreed maintenance window.
