Automating incident handling.<\/h2>\n<\/div><\/div>

For our clients we start DevOps projects to identify and categorise thousands of IT incidents, and then automate the solutions. For an international client with several large call centres, we came up with a solution that is both efficient and cost-saving. This client provides network connections with guaranteed network access. Even so, there were a lot of outages, and the result was that many customers reported the same incident at the same time. A separate ticket was created for every customer so that engineers could get to work, which meant hundreds of call centre staff performing the same action day in, day out. We developed a system that reads the complaint emails, groups the outages together and sends an automatic response to each customer. That saved a great deal of work. Instead of hundreds of emails, the network engineer now received one. Once the problem was resolved, a single email went out to all affected customers to confirm it. Thanks to this system, the number of call centre staff needed could be reduced dramatically. This DevOps project was defined and delimited by an SLA (service level agreement).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
